Sportsman's Lodge is located 50 miles (80 kms) north of La Ronge, Saskatchewan, on McIntosh Lake, part of the Churchill River system.

"Fabulous" might be the best word to describe the fishing on the historic Churchill River, but it doesn't do justice to this mighty northern river, which is really a maze of lakes and streams that stretches across a thousand miles of the Canadian Shield and has perhaps the best fishing on the North American Continent. It has long been famous for its northern pike, lake trout and walleye, and as a guest at Sportsman's Lodge you will have the opportunity to fish the lakes and rivers of one of Canada's most productive waterways.

Many happy anglers have had the fishing experience of a lifetime casting a lure into the generous waters exclusive to our guests. Be one of the fortunate few to wet a line at Sportsman's Lodge this year!

Here, too, bald eagles soar across the sky and moose roam the immense forests of birch, poplar, spruce and pine that offer truly breathtaking surroundings. At Sportsman's Lodge you are sure to be thrilled with the fishing, but you may leave with the love of this land.
